“Tuluver” is plural for “Tuluva”. Tuluva is a person with origin from Mangalore and Udupi districts of Coastal Karnataka in India where Tulu is the language of communication in daily business although the official language is Kannada
The entity ‘Tuluver Singapore’ focuses on the recreational, cultural, and welfare activities of the Tulu community in Singapore, which is reflected in its name.
About Tuluver Singapore
“We are a small Tulu-speaking community in Singapore, with some of us having lived, worked, or engaged in business activities here for over three decades.”
In April 2021, a WhatsApp group was created to bring the community together and as of now we have around 400+ members in the group.
